ILNP Birefringence

I am so backlogged with photos! This is a good problem and a bad problem. Good because I can post about a polish when I want to because I already have reasonable photos to use, bad because I can't decide what to post! Dude helped me select which one to start with, as I have a mountain of new polishes and had no clue where to start.

ILNP is a brand new to me. Their presentation is super professional and a bit fancy. I love their square bottles (apparently they used to be round) and the nice screen printing as well as all the labels and packaging. The website is also very sleek and contemporary looking.

This polish in particular is one of their multi chrome polishes. It is very  beautiful and the particle size and finish is quite nice. I have a lot of trouble with some duo chrome polishes as they can be very streaky and just have a finish and particle size which I do not like. The china glaze ones seem to fit the best into this category pretty but a strange finish that doesn't look good in a lot of lights (to me at least). The finish on this is about as good as you can get for a polish of this type. The shift is very strong and very cool looking in nearly all lights.

Onward, to the photos!

I had a hard time capturing the golden edge to the shift but it is there! You can see it pretty well in the bottle and it does show up in some lights.

A very pretty polish and definitely worth a try if you are looking for this sort of shade, feels very autumnal to me.

Hopefully I should be posting a bit more in the near future, I was on vacation and I am now back so hopefully I can plow through the pile of photos so I won't be still positing fall polishes in December.

Glam Polish The Prestige [Updated with more photos!]

I sometimes don't post polishes I've worn because of lack of good photos, for the next few polishes, that is kind of the case, I'm not super pleased with the photos and I took a lot of them so there is a lot more sorting which makes it a bit tricky.

This polish is another one from Glam Polish. The Prestige is from the Masters of Illusion collection, I feel like I could have probably bought most of these polishes as well. I'm trying to maintain my restraint (and my low buy I've limited myself to). The Prestige reminds me of OPI's Teenage Dream / Milani's Pink Flare. The difference is that it is much paler, and a bit cooler as well as a hint of pale purple. It is a very pretty shade with lots more holo than Teenage Dream that is less lumpy. There are some pink flakes in the polish as well, it kind of gets lost in all the holo but I appreciate the complexity anyway.  I took tons of photos and I'm not sure how much I really like any of them so I'm just going to throw all the ones that look reasonable into this post.

I could not get my camera to focus on my nails, it kept focusing on the bottle!

The Prestige V ILNP Dream Girl

Apologies for some different backgrounds, I painted this while I was at my parents house so some of the photos are from there, others are back at my place. I'm not sure photos can really capture some of these pale colors accurately. This is a very ethereal polish the lavender/lilac tones to this polish only come out in some lighting but make it a very unique polish (to me at least). Very beautiful, if you can scrounge this one up it would definitely be worth it. I had to order this one from Hypnotic Polish's website since Glam Polish was all out, definitely worth paying more and the extra shipping to get it from The Netherlands. If you were curious about how this compares to ILNP Dream Girl, it is similar but different. Dream Girl is darker and more pink and is just a straight up holo (I think they call these Ultra Holos?) Anyway not much else to say!

I hope everyone is having a happy October!

Bonus update photos!

Hello everyone I found some really pretty photos of The Prestige on my phone (I forgot about them) and so I am sharing those as well :-)

These arent the best photos but they show off the sparkle better and the lilac/lavender-y undertone of the polish. :-)
